Initiati[]
The Initiati are an international organisation dedicated to the research of paranormal activities, primarily including, but not limited to, ESP, OOBE, poltergeists and faith healing.
In contrast to the Ascendi, Initiati do not take it as their primary objective to actually 'do' anything with the phenomena if they are proved to be true (and so far all tests have been ambiguous). The Initiati are rather passive as far as attempts to control or regulate the various forms of paranormal phenomena go.
Membership isn't very formal. It is expected that they will occasionally participate in 'spooky hunts', and share any data, but that's about it. Members who exhibit paranormal abilities or 'something like that' are not treated any better than the rest, though, of course, they get more opportunities to become research subjects.
